Memorial Day

 Memorial Day was beautiful here, and we all had the day off, so we grabbed the boat and headed to the lake.  This was a rare treat for our daughter - she's working two full-time jobs this summer to pay for college.

 

 There are a lot of osprey nests hanging over the water of the lake.  We had a great chance to observe some of them up close (thanks to dad snagging a rock with his pop gear lol).

We grilled steaks for dinner, and had Papa and Bugga over for s'mores.  It is nice to have such a great yard with so many trees and tons of space.  We had a lot of fun with the "fire pit" we borrowed from Bugga.  It was a great way to get rid of all the stray branches from the yard too ;)
