Book Bingo Progress Update

Well, we're about halfway on the book bingo challenge the library is having.  The contest runs March 1-May 31, so next week marks the halfway point. 

I'm right on schedule.  I'm currently reading book #13 out of 25.  It isn't required to completely finish the grid.  For every bingo you complete, you get a ticket in the drawing for an Amazon gift card.  They also had prizes after reading 4 and after reading 8, which I've already collected.  The books in the picture are the ones I still need to read.

Here's a closer view.  Keep in mind that some of these are books I would not otherwise read, but I needed to fill in a certain category.  I'm in the process of reading the book on top - The Road from Coorain by Jill Ker Conway right now.  This pile is one book short.  I saved a spot for one of my May book club reads.  I may have to adjust to get the other book club book in.  I'd determined not to read anything that doesn't fit onto the bingo sheet until I've completed the bingo challenge :)

 After I finish my current book, I'm going to start on this pile, hoping to get through the first 4 books before the end of the month.

Here's the whole stack.  Shortly after the contest started, I figured I needed to finish a book every 3 days in order to complete all 25 books.  I'm a book and a half ahead of schedule at the moment.
