We woke up yesterday to several inches of snow on the ground :( And it snowed throughout the day.
At one point we had a very heavy hail storm, complete with thunder and lightening. This picture was taken right at the beginning of it. It was pea sized or a little smaller, but more like tiny snowballs than ice, thankfully. Felt bad for the neighbor's horses. They were going crazy in it and one of them is separated from the main corral because it has an injury. It had no shelter to get under. Anyway, Spring snowstorms are very common here through the end of June, but they usually melt away and the next day is nice as can be.
Not this time. This is our view this morning - more snow than we had yesterday. No worries though. The first thing the five year old told me yesterday was, "I need to go shovel!"
A few days ago, I finally managed to get a picture of our dove. When it comes to the feeder it always sits on the bigger board and eats from there rather than sitting on the feeder. It's pretty big and I think it doesn't fit well onto the feeder.
There was a young moose right next to the five year old's preschool when I picked him up yesterday. This one hangs out in town all the time.
