Well, here we are at the end of another week. It seems like it's been a scattered one, with not a lot getting done. Don't you hate those? So here are the few things we did manage to do.
And they brought enough home for the family to each have a couple. I was impressed that he even thought to keep one of them un-frosted. The five year old prefers his plain. :)
While I was cooking dinner, I looked up and saw a huge snowstorm had blown in. It doesn't show well in the picture, but it was snowing extremely heavily, and sideways.
Then within five minutes, it was sunny and still snowing. It looks like rain, but it was really snow that melted fast.
This week at the five year old's preschool, it was "circus week." The kids all made train cars out of shoe boxes and lids. They put a picture of an animal inside the lid or box, then cut bars for the cage, and colored and cut out wheels. They were all lined up above the lockers and really looked like a train.
The amazing thing was that the five year old has never cut out deliberate shapes before - at least not well. He loves to cut, but just never could stay on the lines. He is very proud of his wheels :)
This is the look I got when I asked him to smile nicely with his mouth closed. HA
At least he's smiling, right? :)
