We dropped him off, then headed back to Colorado to spend the day with family. I thought about hanging out in Cheyenne all day but figured I'd spend as much there as I would on fuel, and we may as well be visiting with family in a relaxed environment.
My sister brought over a game for the little ones, and they had a fun time playing together.
See the squirrel in her hand? That is a tweezer-like pincher that the kids use to pick up the acorns from the box. They have to spin, pick up acorns, and match the colors to collect the right nuts. It's a great little game - lots of different skills involved.
After playing and lunch, we headed back to pick up the ten year old, and thankfully both younger boys napped on the way. It's a 45 minute drive, but unfortunately they woke up when we got there, and didn't fall asleep again on the way back. They're going to be really tired by the end of the week.
The ten year old made cookies this evening too, but I'll save that for a separate post. Dinner time was a little goofy for all the kids.
Everyone needed a bit of cleaning up after dinner, but that was a fun game too, involving a whole family of rubber ducks.
And here are a few more pictures from our trip to Cool Beans yesterday, taken on my sister's camera.
My little tree hugger. :)
So that's all for tonight. I'll have to do a post later on the math and science camp. They're supposed to give us some pictures when it's all done. But I better head to bed now. Gotta get up early to get him there again tomorrow.
