Fire Department Open House
Last Saturday I took the little guys to the fire department open house for a quick bite to eat and a ride on a firetruck. Had a great time :)
We got to ride in the fancy new ladder truck - which I failed to get a picture of from the outside. We rode in the seats facing backwards, which was a fun change, and a couple little friends from church rode with us.
Horrible picture of me, but look at how excited he was :) This was at the beginning when they took off fast like they would for a fire.
I didn't realize until I looked at this picture how close the three year old's eye color is to mine.
I'm a born again believer in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ the Son of God. I am a very happily married wife and a homeschooling mom of five of the greatest kids in the world. We live in a little mountain town in Wyoming, which we love. I enjoy reading and studying God's Word, homeschooling my treasures from Heaven, sewing and doing all sorts of crafts.

"The Bible calls debt a curse and children a blessing; but in our culture, we apply for a curse and reject blessings. Something is wrong with this picture." Doug Phillips

Cleaning and scrubbing can wait till tomorrow... For babies grow up, we've learned to our sorrow... So quiet down cobwebs, dust go to sleep... I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep!!
