Still Cold and I Still Have a Cold

Well it's warmer today - teehee.

Again this morning we had great sun dogs.  I started to suspect that the super cold temperatures might have something to do with it.  I checked wikipedia and it said that you can see sun dogs any time of year, but that it is caused by the sun reflecting off ice crystals in the atmosphere.  Pretty amazing, but super bright.  Even looking at the edges of the sun dogs rather than the sun was too bright to do for long.

The five year old had show and tell today at preschool.  Any guesses about what he took?  Anyone?  :)

I meant to post these the other day, then got distracted by the Super Bowl disaster and then by this cold that's knocked me flat - fourth consecutive day with a horrible sore throat.  At least the fever's gone.  Anyway, this was the boys' greeting to their Dad when he came home from work Saturday night. :)  They sure do love him!

Of course they all had to tell and show him everything they'd been up to.

Oh yeah, and catch up on a horsey ride or two.

And show off pinata pieces. (Anyone else think this looks like a fancy dunce cap?)  The look on his face and the minion shirt that says "whatever it is, I didn't do it" pretty much sum everything up.

:)
