Back Home

We made it home yesterday evening and awoke to stormy weather this morning, but I love it.

A couple pictures left from Colorado - this is the five year old with a black footed ferret mask he made.  The museum gave us the paper for it, and we took it back to Grammy's to color later.  We were too tired to do it there.  They also gave us a page of other animals to color and cut out, so I'm sure we'll be doing that later this week sometime.

Here he was showing how the mask fit into the paper we cut it from.

The ten year old found a creative use for Grammy's dominoes.

Saturday we walked over to Qdoba for lunch with everyone (then to TCBY for dessert).  The kids were trying to do handstands :)

And I finally got around to replacing the etch-a-sketch.  Well worth the investment for the ten year old.  He spent several hours of the drive working on different designs.  He's a whiz at using this thing.  I never could get the hang of it, so his pictures seem pretty impressive to me.
