Earlier This Week...

I'm a bit behind in my blogging.  We have family in town and are greatly enjoying the visit.  Anyway, I figured I better finish posting what happened before they got here before I post what we've been up to with them :)

The five year old had another session of riding lessons - this time outdoors.  The weather (and the scenery) was beautiful. It was birthday #3 for our youngest, but we decided to wait to celebrate until the family arrived, so it wasn't too exceptional of a day for him.

The five year old is warming up to Buck, his new horse.  Sadie is in the background with another rider, and we made sure to say hi to her too.

The 3 year old had plenty of fun throwing rocks in the stream while we waited for his brother to ride.

After doing some ABC work in the arena, they went for a trail ride.

While we were at riding lessons, the ten year old was at the library making his solar car.  The kids who finished the reading program (at his age level) won solar cars.  Younger kids got Lego cars.  They will race them at the finale lunch party.

They left them at the library on display for a few days.
