"Lo, Children Are An Heritage of the LORD: and the Fruit of the Womb is His Reward" - Psalm 127:3

We started out our day with a "free" breakfast at Chick-fil-a with my sister and niece. The sandwiches were free (a Wednesday promotion - not sure if that's just Fort Collins or what), and we bought our drinks and hash browns.
The two year old climbed up in the play area and came down... without his socks. I told him to go back and get his socks. I was surprised that he was able to follow directions as well as he did and go up and bring back ... one sock :) Ha. Thankfully one of the other kids brought us the other sock.
The five year old wouldn't even try going up. I think he made it one or two steps up. But it was really crowded in there and overwhelming for him.
We also went to Target. I took all the kids to the toy section so my sister could try on some clothes. They all found something they loved, and I have a pretty good idea now what to get for Christmas. I came around the corner of one aisle and found my nine year old sitting on the floor playing :)
Then we made a quick stop at King Soopers. The five year old spotted the horse and wanted on. I was surprised he wanted me to put money into it.
Thankfully the sound had been disconnected. I think that would have been too much for him.
He was very proud of himself for having the ride. He told me when it was over that he was very brave :) I agree.
I'm a born again believer in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ the Son of God. I am a very happily married wife and a homeschooling mom of five of the greatest kids in the world. We live in a little mountain town in Wyoming, which we love. I enjoy reading and studying God's Word, homeschooling my treasures from Heaven, sewing and doing all sorts of crafts.

Cleaning and scrubbing can wait till tomorrow... For babies grow up, we've learned to our sorrow... So quiet down cobwebs, dust go to sleep... I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep!!
