Brothers :)

Well, the 20 year old headed out yesterday morning, back to his base to take care of some business. He and the 2 year old had a lot of fun - lots of pony rides, silliness and hugs.

That's coming a long way from the first night the 20 year old walked in the door and the 2 year old panicked. He hadn't seen him in 6 months, and the 20 year old showed up in fatigues. The 2 year old kept yelling, "K... SIT!" He is pretty tall, so I guess the 2 year old was intimidated. That, and the fact that he is afraid of men in general...

But within a day they were good buddies.

At some point during the pony ride, the 2 year old turned his horse into a gun, and the war was on.

All in fun of course!

The 7 year old was in on the big brother action too.

You know, lots of silliness all-around.

And some serious pinochle playing too.

What do you think, Grandpa? This is the 20 year old's hand in a game of double deck, pass 3 cards... before his sister passed him the ace of hearts and a couple of kings. We actually had a couple better hands than this too. We saw double runs twice. The 20 & 18 year old were partnered against parents every time, and I don't think we (the parents) won a single game. The 20 year old has a habit of bidding on thin air, and making it. He only went set once.
